Meet Eve

Ethel Shaw-Woodard writing as Eve Alexander has been an avid reader ever since she was old enough to hold a book in her hand. She was officially declared a bookworm in high school–reading 3-5 books a week. Her love for books has fueled her desire to write. “Telling stories were so much fun. I got the attention of my classmates and sibling. I got them to listen.” Eve laughs. Former Vice-President of African American Writers in Memphis, currently holds membership with Music City Romance Writers in Nashville, From the Heart Romance Writers in California (an online chapter) and have been an active member of RWA (Romance Writers of America) for nine years.

Her Literary passion includes writing fiction love stories in the mainstream genre, writing poetry and song lyrics. In addition to her two published books of short stories “10 Commandments of Love Part 1 & 2, written in the “Mother’s Wit/Dry Comedy genre, she has completed a full length romance novel . She is currently working on 10 Commandments of Love Part 3 and more romance novels. She works full time as a Business System Tester in Memphis.
